Reading room
My reading room is full of books. Thousands of
articles and Web sites exist that are relevant, but you do not need me so
much to find those - check the journal corner though.
Books might be old, or unavailable in some places in
the world. And I just like books a lot: one good book is worth a thousand
articles. Especially authors who can afford to stay away from the
publication rat race can take time for a thorough book. |

Journal corner
Just because I like books does not mean I disregard
journals. One good journal issue can explain many books. For researchers who
like the trait-based view of culture: see the 2006 issue of
JIBS,
journal of International Business Studies, where Hofstede and GLOBE cross swords on
research method, and others comment (e.g. Peter Smith, who notes that when
elephants fight, the grass gets trampled). You can find a wealth of important articles in
Online
Readings in Cultural Psychology. |
